Read that as "Template system, include an RSS syndicated newsfeed here. Count 3 items out of it, with the data coming from the <link> titled "sourceforge" (see below), and use the per-item template named "descriptions". (This template shows titles and descriptions; you could also use "titles" to show just titles, or "weblogitem" to show everything including dates, which most public newsfeeds don't have.)

There are thousands of RSS newsfeeds available. (Search for "RSS" with your favorite search engine.) Currently, the template system parses RSS 0.91 through 0.94, and version 2.0 formats. In the RSS world, that's every variety except version 1.0, which is significantly different from the others.

FAR Colony 0.60.280 is released !

Far Colony is a game of exploration and space colonization being held with 23th century. The game is based on management, strategy and planning in the more or less long term, where the use of the military force is not an obligatory way. This new release include contains all the updates from 2007-August-11 to 2007-August-19. It's mainly bugfixes, data structures updates, some text corrections and updates, update of the options panel and update of the Orbital Object Data Interface. It's the last release without game modules and routines, all the next releases will have ones (it's the time !!) ;)

KELP 0.5 Released

kelp is a source code documentation system that promotes the "separation of concern" paradigm. It allows documentation to be written separately from source code, yet link the two dynamically. The opposite of what conventional systems do. A new version of kelp, KELP_REL_0_5, has been released today. Together with many bug fixes, it now comes with more extensive documentation in the form of readme files. Included are instructions on how to compile kelp using the command line version of VisualC++ on Win32 platforms. It has only been released as a source package.
